STR clinics are unique. We offer instruction and analysis using the most advanced technology. Our technology was developed by the STR president (Dr. Havriluk) and has been thoroughly researched over the last 20 years. In addition, the instructional procedures have been supported with documented evidence presented at international conferences and published in swimming and scientific journals. We keep the number of participants small to insure individual attention, constant mental focus, and incomparable progress.

In January, we will offer two clinics for adults (triathletes and masters) and one clinic for age group swimmers (swim team members). The clinics will be conducted by Dr. Havriluk at the Camana Bay Pool on Grand Cayman Island. Please register online or call 850-385-9803 for other options.

Instructional sessions include a presentation of optimal technique featuring MONA - a biomechanical model developed from applications of the principles of physics (hydrodynamics and biomechanics), research, and thousands of Aquanex trials. In addition to a complete description of MONA's technique, the presentation will include cues to expedite the learning process. The cues give the swimmer specific information (exactly what to see and feel) for positioning and moving the head, torso, arms, and legs. The pool session includes practice with the cues, as well as constant reinforcement and individual feedback

The Aquanex+Video analysis clinics synchronize underwater video and hand force so that a swimmer can see exactly where in the stroke he/she is taking advantage of strength, and where he/she is losing force or wasting motion. Options are given for changes that increase force, thereby increasing swimming velocity.
