SpeedWeek by STR

STR SpeedWeeks are unique. We offer instruction and analysis of all four strokes using the most advanced technology. The mornings will begin with a classroom session on optimal technique featuring MONA. An instructional pool session follows with many short swims at slow speed so that the swimmers can control their movements. Lunch time activities will feature guest experts on nutrition, physical therapy, psychology, and physiology. The afternoons offer the swimmers opportunities to maintain their focus on technique at faster speeds and with fatigue. However, maintaining control to improve technique will be the emphasis, not training distance. During the training, each swimmer will be tested with Aquanex+Video. A classroom feedback session of the synchronized underwater video and hand force data will conclude the daily schedule.

Our advanced technology was developed by the STR president (Dr. Havriluk) and has been thoroughly researched over the last 20 years. In addition, the instructional procedures have been supported with documented evidence presented at international conferences and published in swimming and scientific journals. We keep the number of participants small to insure individual attention, constant mental focus, and incomparable progress.
