STR clinics include analysis and feedback. We work with coaches to determine a format that fits well with their team.

Pool Testing Session

Aquanex captures synchronized underwater video and hand force data.
Testing requires only one end lane of the pool.
Testing can be conducted during a normal team training session.
Testing each swimmer on 2 strokes requires about five minutes.
A session for 12 swimmers tested on 2 strokes each requires about 90 minutes.

Classroom Feedback Session

A 90 minutes classroom feedback session follows the pool testing session.
The feedback session can be conducted for the coaches, the swimmers, or coaches and swimmers.
The video and force data clearly identify critical technique features.
The feedback reinforces each swimmer’s positive technique elements.
Each swimmer receives options for technique adjustments to swim faster.
Feedback includes information about minimizing shoulder stress.
Technique information is based on the principles of physics and decades of research.
Instructional strategies conform to the principles of deliberate practice.

Post-Analysis Follow-up

Each swimmer receives a playback version of the Aquanex software.
Each swimmer receives a copy of their individual file.
Swimmer files are available for coach review.
Follow-up consultation is available by phone, email, or Skype.
